Background:
I have a Ph.D. in Modern Letters from the University of Tulsa.  My main area of interest is the British novel, particularly in the Nineteenth Century.  I am also interested in women writers, literary theory, and the twentieth-century American novel.  For an overview of my career, please look at my vita.

Courses:
I regularly teach courses in technical writing, women writers (current) (past), the British novel, and the modern novel.  Occasionally I teach special topic courses such as Jane Austen:  Novels and Films.
