Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor in the department of Educational Studies. I teach special education courses and direct the Special Education Institute.

Through a grant provided by the Department of Education, the Special Education Institute offers coursework for teachers who are teaching special education in the P-12 schools on a waiver or permit. It also provides training for teachers in the P-12 schools who teach students with disabilities in their general education classrooms. Courses are offered during the summer on the UTM campus and online during the fall and spring.
