You have found the web site of Matthew Harvey, assistant professor of mathematics at the University of Tennessee at Martin. I am a topologist interested in orbifolds, knots, paper folding, Seifert fibered spaces, equivariant K-theory, and in general anything having to do with group actions on manifolds. I am also preparing an online primer in undergraduate Euclidean and non-Euclidean geometry. In any spare time, I play classical guitar, read novels, and draw and sculpt in computer programs.
Links to the slides for my MT^2NW talk on Saturday, September 17, in various formats: note that the movies only sort of work in powerpoint. For the quicktime version you have to click to advance the slide. Powerpoint version, Quicktime version, .pdf version
