RC Flyers came to West Tennessee from all over the country and world to compete in the Clover Creek Invitational. This three-day competition and show provided some the most experienced and daring flying you will ever see. Wait till you see an airplane dance.
When you walk into this Old West Backyard Town, you’d think John Wayne could walk out of the saloon at any moment. In fact, the owner of this town has John Wayne photos hung all over his workshop. Come with us to this unique attraction just “West” of Trenton Tennessee.
It’s only a year or so old, but the Discovery Museum in downtown Jackson enjoys good crowds of visitors and has a bright future in store. Animals were the stars on the night we went to the museum.

The Annual Carls-Schwerdfeger History Lecture Series at Union University featured Dr. Jeremy Black of the University of Exeter in the United Kingdom. Dr. Black’s presentation of “Why The Allies Won World War II” presented some new and expanded thinking of the war.

The Super Retriever Series (SRS) came to Martin during the 2007 Soybean Festival. The SRS is a series of three contests professional and amateur dogs compete in for recognition and prize money.
In its eleventh year, The Youth Outdoor Jamboree moved to Martin and is now poised to grow even larger. This activity is geared to teaching kids and their parents how to have fun and be safe with outdoor activities.
Discovery Park Of America is the name of this $100 million project in Union City. The museum will occupy 50 acres between US-51 and the new I-69 and will beckon visitors from all over the world to visit West Tennessee.

Its the biggest arts and crafts festival in West Tennessee and brings vendors and patrons from all over the Mid-South. The Reelfoot Lake Arts And Crafts Festival, nestled near the famed lake, is an experience of sights, sounds, smells and personalities.
The Brits love their Royals and we’re fascinated by the pomp and show. The Bolivar Library is the permanent host of the British Royals Commemoratives Collection – photos to teacups to books – enjoy a little history from Elizabeth and Victoria to Charles and Camilla.
Women’s health takes center stage each year in Jackson as women and health care professionals rub shoulders and exchange information (and fun) at the Civic Center.
