See art in motion at our Vanguard Theatre, the resident production company of the Department of Visual and Theatre Arts.

Two to three major mainstage productions are performed each year, as well as a number of lab theatre plays. A wide variety of theatre is performed: from Shakespeare to Shepard, modernist to musical. These provide the opportunity for students to participate in acting, stage-managing, and technical aspects of theatre production as well as in the design and construction of sets and costumes.
