Eight graduates prepare to teach K-12 music

MARTIN, Tenn. – STUDENTS PREPARE FOR THE CLASSROOM – Eight students graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin this spring prepared to teach music in grades K-12. A specialization in music education is an option for those pursuing a Bachelor of Music degree, and future educators can choose to focus on instrumental ensembles or vocal groups. All students in this option complete student teaching rotations in the music programs of regional K-12 schools.
