UT Martin faculty and staff to perform in 'rock tuba' recital

MARTIN, Tenn. – Several faculty and staff members from the University of Tennessee at Martin will join forces to present a “rock tuba” recital at 7:30 p.m., Jan. 17, in the university’s Blankenship Recital Hall, located inside the Fine Arts Building.

Dr. Bill Waterman, director of athletic bands and instructor of music, will headline the recital. Dr. Jim Feiser, Department of History and Philosophy; Micah Barnes and Dr. Josh Smith, Department of Music; and Kenny Robinson, WLJT-DT, will accompany Waterman on the guitar, bass, drums and keyboard, respectively.

This recital will not only showcase a unique musical style, but shows the interdisciplinary relationships among UT Martin faculty and staff.
