3.3 Required Application Information and Faculty Résumés
Adjunct faculty applying to teach courses on campus apply through the academic department in which the course is offered. For courses offered off campus, the Office of Extended Campus and Continuing Education (ECCE) handles the application process as outlined below. ECCE currently offers courses at several extended campus locations. Undergraduate and graduate courses are offered throughout West Tennessee, with primary locations in Jackson, Selmer, Paris, Camden, Dickson, and Oak Ridge. Complete degree programs are available in Jackson, the UT Martin McNairy County Center/Selmer, and Oak Ridge.
All applicants for adjunct faculty positions must submit a letter of application, current résumé, three letters of recommendation, and official transcripts for all academic course work to the department.
3.3.1 On-Campus Adjunct Faculty Applicants
Applicants for on-campus adjunct faculty positions must submit: 1. Letter of Application Letters should be addressed to the appropriate department chair. 2. Current Résumé Résumés following the UT Martin format (See Appendix B) are submitted to the department offering the course they are teaching. The résumés are limited to two pages in length and must be updated each year. 3. Official transcripts Transcripts must be mailed directly from the issuing institution to the department chair. 4. 3.3.2 ECCE Adjunct Faculty Applicants
Applicants for on-campus adjunct faculty positions must submit: 1. Letter of Application Letters should indicate: l The specific academic discipline and subject (i.e., English – Composition, English Composition Dual-Credit, History – American, Mathematics – Pre-calculus) l Preferred location (i.e., McNairy, Jackson, Paris) l Semester/year available to teach (i.e., Fall 2000, Spring 2001, Summer 2001) 2. Current Résumé Résumés following the UT Martin format (See Appendix B) submitted to the department offering the course they are teaching. The résumés are limited to two pages in length and must be updated each year. 3. Official transcripts Transcripts must be mailed directly from the issuing institution to the Office of ECCE at the above address. 4. Three letters of recommendation
Information for off-campus and dual-credit courses should be submitted to one of the following addresses:
For Jackson and Dual-credit

The Jackson ECCE office will ensure the information is complete, and then forward the packet to main campus for approval/disapproval by the appropriate academic department.
For the UT Martin McNairy County Center/Selmer

The McNairy Center ECCE office will ensure the information is complete, and then forward the packet to main campus for approval/disapproval by the appropriate academic department.

The Martin ECCE office will consolidate all extended campus adjunct applications and forward these to the appropriate academic department for approval or disapproval.
