6.1         Student Services

 

Adjunct faculty are not responsible for providing student services not related to the classes they teach.  However, students frequently do approach faculty with problems or issues beyond faculty expertise.  In these instances, adjunct faculty are encouraged to direct students to the appropriate student services as listed below:

 

·        Student Health Services – available to currently enrolled students for general outpatient care, first aid, allergy injections, limited lab services, vaccines, and physicals 

·        Public Safety – parking permits, keys, traffic fine payments

·        Student Academic Support Services (SAS) – academic testing, Study Skills Center, Writing Center, Math Lab, etc.

·        Program Access for College Enhancement (PACE) – for students with disabilities

·        Counseling and Career Services – personal counseling services, career services, freshman counseling, Peer Enabling Program (PEP)
