4.5          Student Access

Adjunct faculty must make themselves available for consultation with students.  Adequate space will be provided to on-campus faculty for consultation with students as needed.  Adjunct faculty should consult with department chairs concerning departmental policies regarding office hours and faculty availability.  On-campus faculty must schedule times of the day when they will be available to students and provide such information on the syllabus.  ECCE faculty must be available prior to or after each class meeting.

All adjunct faculty must provide a phone number, e-mail address, or fax number on the syllabus so students can contact them on other days of the week. This information must also be provided to the departmental secretaries.
