View from the Quad...

The following was written last August by a group of young ladies who lived in McCord Hall during the fall quarter of 1969. After reading about Austin Peay Hall being razed, the group decided to come and relive their college days. As you read this story, you too will most likely have these same feelings and memories. Take a moment to come back to your campus and share your experience. We'll even leave the light on for you!
"It was an incredible journey the UT Martin Gang took August 6 - 7, 2004, and we want to thank Bunny (a.k.a. Lynn Howell King) and Charley Deal, Director of Alumni Relations, from the bottom of our hearts for the work they did in coordinating this event. We never imagined going to where it all started would give us such an experience. Who says you can never go back?
The excitement started to build from the first email describing Charley's offer to allow our group to spend a night on campus in a dorm room. The number of emails this trip generated was amazing. No matter how often you would answer the emails about this trip you could sign off and sign back on an hour later only to find a dozen more emails!
You would have thought we were planning our first day of college, but this was even better. For the first time around college life was a bit scary." Read more...

Pat Head Summitt “Coaches” UT Martin Graduates
Pat Head Summitt was the featured speaker at this year’s spring commencement.
Don’t Call Him Disabled
Brandon Rowland has accomplished much in the sports world, from winning golf tournaments to excelling in national-level basketball competitions, despite the fact that illness took his legs from him at a young age.
