ECONOMICS

Economics prepares students for careers in industry or government, for graduate work, and for admission to schools of law. Concentration within the major may be elected in finance or international business to facilitate the career objectives of individual students.

Economics majors interested in finance or international business may concentrate in one of those areas by using the 18 specialization hours in the manner described below. These courses replace the required specialization hours in the economics major.
