*The following guidelines should be used in selecting elective courses:

  1. Six hours of electives must be selected from the following courses to provide a humanities focus:
    Art 110, 210, 211
    English 250, 251, 260, 261, 270, 271
    History 121, 122 or equivalent honors courses
    Music 111, 112
    Philosophy - any course
    Religious Studies 201, 202, 301
  2. Three hours of electives must be selected from the following courses to provide an oral communications focus: Communications 230 or 231
  3. Three hours of electives must be selected from the following courses to provide a sociological focus: Sociology 201 or 202.
  4. Three hours of general electives.
