321 Landscape Management (3) Principles and techniques for maintenance of residential, commercial and institutional landscapes. Emphasis on landscape maintenance involving turf, flowers, ground covers, shrubs, and trees. Discussion of maintenance of playgrounds, natural areas, trails, golf courses, pools, and other public facilities. (Same as PRA 321.)

322 Introductory Plant Pathology (3) Introduction to basic principles of plant pathology. Diagnosis, cause, and control methods of major plant diseases. Major emphasis on agronomic crops. 324 Landscape Construction (3) Course will cover implementation of landscape designs. Grading, irrigation, hardscape and planting will be covered. Specialties, such as water features and low voltage lighting will be addressed. Subjects will be approached from both technical and aesthetic correctness. Emphasis will be total project management (i.e., completing projects to specifications and on budget).
