SUBJECT: Summer School - Elimination of Registration Day for First Summer Term

Purpose: To meet the required number of contact hours in the first summer term and observe the Memorial Day holiday.

UT Martin will no longer designate the day prior to the beginning of first term summer classes for the first summer term as Summer School Registration Day. This change is necessitated by the loss of one day from the summer semester caused by the University's closing for the Memorial Day holiday.

Summer registration will not be adversely affected by eliminating the day of registration with perpetual registration offered through web-based and telephone registration access.
