Entertainment expenses less than $300 can be approved by the department head. Expenses of $300 and greater also requires the prior approval of the Vice Chancellor for Finance & Administration.
"Entertainment" includes food items, meals, flowers, and unusual items and requires extra explanation, information and approvals. An explanation of the occasion and a list of attendees is required.
It can be direct billed or reimbursed to the individual with a proper receipt.
