Academic OneFile is the premier source for peer-reviewed, full-text articles from the world's leading journals and reference sources. With extensive coverage of the physical sciences, technology, medicine, social sciences, the arts, theology, literature and other subjects, Academic OneFile is both authoritative and comprehensive. With millions of articles available in both PDF and HTML full-text with no restrictions, researchers are able to find accurate information quickly. Includes full-text coverage of the New York Times back to 1995. Updated daily.

Academic Search™ Premier
This is the world's largest scholarly, multi-disciplinary, full text database designed specifically for academic institutions. With the most valuable and most numerous collection of peer-reviewed full text journals, Academic Search™ Premier offers critical information from many sources found in no other database. This resource contains full text for 3,834 scholarly publications with more than 100 going back to 1975 or further.

ACS ChemCenter
The ACS ChemCenter contains the full-text of articles in 26 American Chemical Society journals and may be searched and displayed at this site. Several ACS titles that focus on news and current events are also listed here but are not available in full-text. However, table-of-contents can be displayed for these titles. ACS journals publish articles in every area of the chemical sciences; vhemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, pharmacy -- to name only a few of the broad categories. Dates of coverage vary with each title, but most are available from 1996 to date. There is an archival component that is also available to UTM students, faculty and staff.

Agricola (Proquest)
AGRICOLA is a comprehensive index to agricultural and life sciences information. The primary focus is on the United States but there is international information as well. Subject areas covered include all areas of agriculture and allied disciplines, such as plant and animal science, forestry, entomology, soil and water resources, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, agricultural products, alternative farming practices and food and nutrition. The publication types covered include journal articles, books, theses, patents, software, audio-visual materials and technical reports.

Air University Library Bibliographies
Contains scores of bibliographies compiled by staff at the Air University on military related topics. Some sources also include links to the full text of the work.

Andy Holt Virtual Library
The Andy Holt Virtual Library is principally a concept library, with a focus on the Humanities and Fine Arts.

Applied Science & Tech Plus
Wilson's Applied Science & Technology index plus full-text and images for the leading periodicals in science and technology. Subject coverage includes computers, engineering, physics, telecommunications and transportation.

ASABE Technical Library
Search all recent technical documents published by the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers. Anyone can view the abstracts. View a list of publications included. You'll find journals from 1998 forward and all other ASABE technical publications from 2001 to current.

Offering complete coverage of English-language nursing journals and publications from the National League for Nursing and the American Nurses' Association, CINAHL with Full Text covers nursing, biomedicine, health sciences librarianship, alternative/complementary medicine, consumer health and 17 allied health disciplines. In addition, this database offers access to health care books, nursing dissertations, selected conference proceedings, standards of practice, educational software, audiovisuals and book chapters. Searchable cited references for more than 1,150 journals are also included. CINAHL with Full Text provides full text for 329 journals, plus legal cases, clinical innovations, critical paths, drug records, research instruments and clinical trials. PDF backfiles to 1982 are also included.

CINAHL Select
CINAHL Select is a valuable resource for nursing and allied health professionals, students, educators and researchers. This database contains more than 170 full text journals with PDF coverage back as far as 1973 including 120 peer-reviewed publications. All journals in this collection are indexed in CINAHL. CINAHL Select is updated on a weekly basis via EBSCOhost.

This resource provides access to Full Text online journals to which the library subscribes. Included are tables of contents and abstracts of many more.

Ebsco Research Databases
Searches both ASP & BSP EBSCO bills Academic Search Premier (ASP) as the world’s largest scholarly, multidiscipline full text database designed specifically for academic institutions. The Ecology & Botany Collection contains 29 titles in two important fields within the life sciences. ERIC is the most widely used index of educational literature in the world. Administered by the U.S. National Library of Education and produced under the auspices of 16 subject-specific clearinghouses, the database provides citations and abstracts for more than one million journal articles and other documents.

Essay Finder (part of Lit Finder)
The essays focus on the humanities and social sciences, and include biographies and literary criticism. Subjects include literature, history, economics, sociology, art and architecture, philosophy, psychology, science and drama.

The Library has a new subscription to GeoScience World, including online access to the full-text of more than 30 peer-reviewed journals in the earth sciences and geology. All titles have backfiles to 2005 and some have complete runs back to 1911. This resource is indexed, linked, and interoperable with GeoRef, the major abstracting and indexing database in the geosciences. Additional journals and more pre-2000 journal content will be added annually, and over time additional research information such as monographs, maps and data sets will also be included.

Lit Finder

PubMed Central
PubMed Central is a digital archive of life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health (NIH), developed and managed by NIH's National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI) in the National Library of Medicine (NLM). It covers approximately 50 peer-reviewed life science journals. A few titles have large back files; however, most cover the past few years only.

This index of over 260 titles from the most popular teacher and administrator trade journals, periodicals, and books is now also offered free via the EBSCOhost platform. This database provides coverage on key education topics such as Assessment, Continuing Education, Current Pedagogical Research, Curriculum Development, Instructional Media, Language Arts, Literacy Standards, Science & Mathematics, and more for K-12 Teachers & Librarians.

Tennessee's collection of public electronic databases. Includes full-text and abstracts.

Tennessee Encyclopedia of History and Culture
This site is designed to supply general information about the state of Tennessee in a user-friendly format for students, teachers, researchers, and general information seekers. It is best viewed with Netscape 4.7 or later and Internet Explorer 5.0 or later. Certain elements of this website require a Flash plug-in which can be obtained from Macromedia's website. The video and audio files are in Real Player format which can be downloaded free from the Real One website.
