| Brief History: | Construction of a dormitory building similar to McCord Hall was initiated in spring of 1965 and completed prior to the fall term of the following year. It was designed on the double-Y pattern as well and housed 528 students. First called the C-D Dormitory, it was officially renamed Austin Peay Hall on April 17, 1969, in honor of Governor Austin Peay. The structure continues to serve as a dormitory today. |
