| Brief History: | In 1934, the construction for a new cafeteria to replace an aging similar facility from the Hall-Moody era was underway. The following year the building was completed and used as an on-campus dining hall. The Dining Hall was remodeled in 1947 and would operate as a cafeteria until the new Student Center was completed in 1965. By 1968, the old cafeteria was converted into an Instructional Television studio and was renamed the Communications Building in 1979. | |
