| Brief History: | A construction of a similar
building to that of McCord Hall was initiated in spring
of 1965 and completed prior to the fall of the following year. The dormitory was originally
designed to house 528 students. It was first called the C-D Dormitory, but later officially named
Austin Peay Hall on April 17, 1969, in honor of Governor Austin Peay. The structure continues
to serve as a dormitory today.
