The building served in that capacity until the new Student Center was completed in 1965. After that date, the R.O.T.C. / Military Science Department assumed control of the facility. The R.O.T.C. program relocated in 1987 to the new R.O.T.C. Building and the following year the old R.O.T.C. building was demolished.
