Instructor Assistance The Paul Meek Library offers a variety of services to support distance education classes. Research assistance, library instruction, and document delivery services are available to off-campus instructors and students. On-campus instructors can receive help integrating library services into UTM distance education courses by contacting Steve Holt. Please contact the Reference Staff at least 4 weeks before classes begin if you have specific information needs; advance notice is essential in order to provide certain services. Course Reserves Articles, lecture notes, book chapter, and other materials can be scanned into the Reserves database (Adobe Acrobat software) where students can read, print, or download materials. Passwords will be assigned to each class. The Paul Meek Library is operating under the "fair use" section of copyright laws, so entire books and journal issues cannot be scanned--only individual chapters or articles.
