- The University of Tennessee at Martin officially launched its portion of the $1 billion University of Tennessee fund-raising campaign on Saturday, May 3 to enhance programs of excellence at all of the university's campuses and institutes. Learn more about the campaign.
- Tennessee Commissioner of Agriculture Ken Givens joined University of Tennessee at Martin Chancellor Tom Rakes and other state and local officials to dedicate the new West Tennessee Animal Disease Diagnostic Laboratory on the UT Martin campus. - Five University of Tennessee at Martin faculty members were honored with awards for outstanding achievements in scholarship, citizenship, teaching and advising during the recent Honors Day program. Who are they?
- A fully accredited online master of business administration (MBA) program is now offered by the University of Tennessee at Martin. The 22-month sequence of courses in the 35-hour program makes it convenient for professionals working full time to complete the degree. - UTMB Reunion will be held June 27-28, 2008 on the UTM campus. Alumni from 1951 to 1969 are invited to attend this special reunion. Please call 731-881-7610 for more information.

- The sixth annual "UT Martin Golden Grad" reunion will be held on Friday and Saturday, August 8 and 9, 2008 in Martin. Alumni from the class of 1958 will be inducted into the Golden Grad society during a special ceremony on Friday. Please call 731-881-7610 for information.
- If you have a son or daughter beginning school this fall semester at UT Martin and you are an alumnus, please mark your calendar to attend the Legacy Luncheon on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Paul Meek Library. An invitation to you will be sent in July.
- "Homecoming 2008...Come Together" October 3-5. Visit with us as we prepare to celebrate the fifth year of Quad City, while maintaining the traditions of rope pull and pyramid. More information will be posted soon.
- UT Martin vs. Auburn- Your Skyhawks will travel to Auburn University on Saturday, Nov. 8 to play football and you are invited! The Office of Alumni Relations and UTM Athletics will host alumni and friends at a tailgate party three hours prior to kick-off. More information will be mailed closer to the event.
