Award Criteria

Outstanding Young Alumni
This award is open to any UT Martin alumnus age 40 and under who has displayed loyalty to UT Martin and the university's mission.  The award is presented to an individual age forty or below (as of January 31 of that year) and recognizes the individuals accomplishments, public service, and commitment to higher education.

Outstanding Alumni
The Outstanding Alumni Award recognizes the service of an alumnus to The University of Tennessee at Martin.  Any alumnus is eligible for this award.  Special attention is given to those nominees who have supported the mission of the university and is a strong advocate of the importance of higher education and UT Martin.

Chancellor's Award For University Service

This annual award is selected by the CHancellor and is based on overall impact of service to the university.  This award is open to any individual who supports the university and its programs.  The selection of this award is made by the Chancellor of UT Martin.

 

Nomination Guidelines

All nominations must be in writing and will be reviewed and placed on the nomination review list for consideration.  ALL nominations must be submitted prior to January 30 of each year to be considered for the following fall awards program. Nominations can be submitted by anyone.
