Scottie Semler (’02) is executive producer of the “Steve Gill Mornings”
radio talk show at 99.7 WTN in Nashville. She received a President’s Award from the Tennessee Wildlife Federation for running the organization’s Naturelink program in 2004. Naturelink takes inner-city families outdoors for a weekend of canoeing, fishing and learning about wildlife, streams and forests. Scottie also was instrumental with other UT Martin Department of Communications alumni in establishing a scholarship endowment in honor of Dorotha Norton, professor of communications.
