News from the College of Education

and Behavioral Science...

Dear College of Education and Behavioral Sciences alumni,

It has been a busy year for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. I am most proud of the accomplishments of faculty in all departments as it relates to their scholarly endeavors. You will notice many faculty members have refereed publications and presentations at national and international conferences. The faculty members in this college are carrying the UT-Martin name all over the world and are showing up with publications in prestigious journals for their professions. Exposure through travel and presentations to conferences is positive for the college in a number of ways. Faculty members bring back to the campus new and fresh ideas and also develop networks with colleagues across the country that may lead to shared research and publications.  I am also very proud of the number of faculty members who are encouraging undergraduate research and are taking students to conferences to present. This is a wonderful experience for our undergraduate students that will give them knowledge and skills to head for graduate school better prepared for master's and doctoral level work.

Sincerely,

Mary Lee Hall, Dean
