We encourage students to visit our campus and experience music education and performance at UT-Martin. During a visit you can attend music classes, talk with current UTM music students, meet with faculty members or have a private lesson. To schedule a visit please contact Sherry Adams, email@example.com (731) 881-7402.
If you are interested in visiting campus, the University Admissions Department leads general University tours daily. Please contact the Department of Music directly to schedule a visit to campus that can include participating in music classes, getting a private lesson with our music faculty and observing or participating in an ensemble rehearsal.
On Monday, February 18, the UT-Martin campus will be open to high school juniors and seniors interested in attending our fine institution. This day typically pairs a high school junior or senior with a UTM music student for a day of classes, rehearsals, and sessions with UTM music students and faculty. Auditions for entrance into the Department of Music and for Music Scholarships can also be scheduled for this day. For more information on attending Junior/Senior Day, please contact Sherry Adams, firstname.lastname@example.org (731) 881-7402.
There are many performance related events that take place on our campus each year, including the Skyhawk Marching Band Invitational, Band Blast, All-West Coaching Session, Honor Band Festival and Chamber Music Festival. Please click the Events tab in the University Bands menu for more information on these exciting opportunities.
