INSTRUCTIONS FOR APPLICATION FOR PROFICIENCY EXAMINATION
Please access the link below to print out the Proficiency Credit Application and prepare one original application for each course in which you wish to receive credit by completing the HIGHLIGHTED (BOLDED) AREAS ONLY.
Graduates of the TLETA Basic Police School may receive academic credit in any or all of the following UT Martin courses:
CJ 300 Principles of Law Enforcement (3 hours)
CJ 320 Criminal Procedure (3 hours)
CJ 411 Special Topics: Physical Training and Use of Force (3 hours)
CJ 470 Tennessee Criminal Law (3 hours)
Graduates of the Tennessee Correction Academy may receive academic credit in one or both of the following UT Martin courses:
CJ 411 Special Topics: Correctional Security (3 hours)
CJ 411 Special Toipcs: Physical Trianing and Use of Force (3 hours)
