- Research interests: Assessment of Nutrition Status of Women, Infants, and Children with a focus on the effects of Socio-Economic factors and Culture on Food Habits.
- International Outreach Programs for preventing malnutrition with emphasis on Women and Children (0-5 years)
- Nutrition Intervention/Education Programs: Developed these programs internationally in various countries through the sponsorship of private and government contracted agencies. Proposals to extend these programs into the future are pending if more funding is acquired.
