The University of Tennessee at Martin, located in the city of Martin, Tenn., is about 140 miles northeast of Memphis and 150 miles northwest of Nashville. Although there are alternate routes to Martin from these cities, the easiest routes to consider are:

 

From Nashville, Tennessee
Travel Interstate-40 west, exit the interstate at Highway 22 at Parker's Crossroads (Exit 108 north). Follow Highway 22 to Martin.

 

From Memphis, Tennessee
Travel Interstate-40 east to Jackson, Tenn., and exit the interstate at the Highway 45 By-Pass (Exit 80-B north). Follow Highway 45 to Martin.
