Sigma Theta Tau (Pi Tau Chapter)

Pi Tau Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing is the UTM Nursing Honor Society. It's purpose is to recognize superior achievement, recognize the development of leadership qualities, foster high professional standards, encourage creative work, and strengthen commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession. Candidates for membership shall be voted upon by the Society. Student membership is based on enrollment in the baccalalaureate nursing program, completion of one-half of the required nursing component of the curriculum, demonstration of ability in nursing, achievement of at least a GPA of 3.0 on a four-point scale, and rank in the highest 35% of the class in scholarship. |
