Aquatic Programs and Information
The Aquatic Program offers a wide variety of recreational and instructional programs, including handicap access, fitness swim, recreational swim, swim lessons, lifeguard classes, birthday parties, and fitness incentive programs.  These programs are offered to students, faculty, staff, and community. Our Olympic size swimming pool (25 yards by 50 meters) has a water depth of 3.5 to 5.0 feet

in the shallow area, 6 feet in the mid section (lap swim area), and 12 feet in the diving well, which has a one-meter diving board. The temperature is kept at 84 degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year. For more information call (731) 881-7718.   

Elam Center Pool Hours: Spring Semester 2011 (Pool Hours are subject to change)

Fitness Swim - Fitness swim is lap swim and shallow water exercise only. Children are only permitted if participating in lap swim. Lanes are first come first serve. You are encouraged, however, to share lanes when they are full.

Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 7:30 AM - 9:00 AM
Monday through Friday 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM

Recreational Swim - Recreational swim includes free play in the shallow area, fitness swim in the lanes, and diving board activities in the deep end.

Tuesday through Friday 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Saturday and Sunday 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
