Economics

If you're interested in a career in international business, finance or economics, you need to check out UT Martin's major in economics.

A major in economics offers students a solid foundation in economic theory and application while providing a diverse background in business administration. Students in our economics program have classes in all areas of business - economics, accounting, marketing, management, finance, computer technology, business law and international business. The economics option develops students' quantitative skills and affords them the flexibility to study a wide variety of liberal arts subjects as well. Students who pursue this option are very well prepared to assume positions in banking, management, financial management and various government positions. The economics option also prepares students to enter graduate studies or law school.
