| The minor in accounting is designed to provide the minimum number of credit hours in accounting necessary to sit for the CPA exam in Tennessee. |
| The minor in Computer Science consists of two of the following courses: (18 hours) |

- 12 additional hours of computer science courses, at least 9 of which are upper-division (300 or 400 numbered courses)

| The minor in Entrepreneurship consist of the following courses: (18 - 21 hours) |
- Accounting 300 or Accounting 201-202

- 6 hours of technical electives.*

|
The minor in entrepreneurship is designed to give non-business students exposure to entrepreneurial ideas within business and to integrate this exposure with their non-business studies. |

| * The technical electives, when combined with the business courses, present an opportunity for students in the entrepreneurship concentration to develop the depth of knowledge in a technical area. The students will be expected to work in teams of business and non-business students in these courses. The work will be directed toward developing products, services, and detailed business plans for products. The eventual outcome of these courses will be to explore the viability of using the results to start a business or improve a process. The technical electives are selected with the advice, guidance, and approval of each student's business advisor. |
| The minor in Marketing consists of the following courses: (18 hours) |
- Economics 201 or Economics 202

| The minor in Paralegal Studies consists of the following courses: (21 hours) |

| The minor in paralegal studies is designed to prepare a person for a career as a legal assistant. Also, as part of an overall degree program, it is an excellent minor for students who plan to attend law school. |

| Note: Students majoring in political science cannot receive a separate minor in paralegal studies; however, courses in the paralegal studies minor can count toward satisfying the major. |
