advanced teaching header

 

The Advanced Teaching Option is available online for those students who have obtained a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university and who are professionally licensed to teach. The program consists of 12 hours of foundations courses, 18 hours of concentration coursework designed for elementary or secondary teaching professionals, 3 hours of computer application and technology and a 4 hour Masters Research project culminating experience. The minimum hours required for the M.S. Degree is 37.

 

**All students are required to pass a written comprehensive examination, which is an integral part of TCED 791 ( (Master's Research Project) , in the semester they plan to graduate. Students earning at least a grade of B in TCEd 791will have represented successful completion of a comprehensive exam.
