Having these lecture notes on the web has inspired some people from outside of UT Martin to e-mail me for more information.  Anyone is welcome to do so, but I do not guarantee that I will answer.  Whether I do depends on how much time I have  -- I respond to UT Martin students, but may not have time after that to respond to anyone else -- whether I know the answer -- since they are lecture notes for a class, they cover many areas outside of my own area of specialization and I may not know much more about these areas than what I present for the class -- and whether it looks as though someone is trying to get me to do their assignments for them (when I get something that looks like an assignment for homework or a take-home test from someone else, I will not answer since I assume your teacher wants you to do your own work as I want my students to do their own work.)
