CHEMISTRY 112 LABORATORY
(Spring 2009)
Proper eye protection must be worn by EVERYONE working in lab, AT ALL
TIMES. There will be twelve separate
experiments worth approximately 10 points apiece.
You are responsible for reading each experiment thoroughly before
coming to lab.
For some of the experiments you will need a
Texas Instruments Calculator Based Laboratory (CBL) interface. To use this interface you will need a Texas
Instruments graphing calculator (TI-83+/TI-83+SE or TI-84+/TI-84+SE recommended)
and the link cable that comes with the calculator.
Missing more than three labs results in an automatic F for the entire
course.
There will be a comprehensive lab exam on April 23 at 12:00 noon. It will consist of a written and a practical
part and be worth 80 points.
