Submitting Papers

Only Faculty and Staff of CENS can submit papers for inclusion in this series. The paper must be in electronic form, either PDF or Microsoft Word file.

1. Template: There is no restriction for the template but each report needs to include an  abstract. You can use the template provided by the conference, journal, or download from the internet (link).
2. PDF convertor: We prefer PDF format. You can use free program such as cutePDF or online document conversion to change to PDF.
3. Submission: If you don't have an access, send your manuscript to your department program resource specialist or department chair.

Citing Papers

Each submitted paper will be assigned a number for reference. There are many ways for citing the paper. Some examples are following.

Basic Style

J. K. Author, "Title of report," Abbrev. Name of Co., City of Co., Abbrev. State, Rep. xxx, year.

Example:

S. Sukittanon and J. Potts, "Mobile Digital Filter Design Toolbox," Department of Engineering, U. of Tennessee at Martin, Martin, TN, Tech. Rep. CENSTR-2012- 01, 2012. (Retrieved from www.utm.edu/cens/papers.php)

APA Style

J. K. Author (year). Title of report. Retrieved from URL link.

Example:

S. Sukittanon and J. Potts (2012). Mobile Digital Filter Design Toolbox. Retrieved from http://www.utm.edu/departments/cens/paperview.php?id=1&name=CENS- 2012-01
