In 1999, Glen (BS, History, 1999) and I moved to Washington, DC. In 2001, I received my Certificate in Arts Management and in 2002 my MA in Dance both from American University in Washington, DC. After studying at the Washington School of Photography, I opened my own business in late 2002. Currently, I own Memories in the Making Photography, which specializes in performing arts photography and pet portraits. I am also a freelance writer and photographer for Dance Spirit and Dance Teacher magazines, a volunteer photographer and grant writer for the Montgomery County SPCA, and the Fall 2002 Department photographer for AU's Department of Performing Arts. In 2001, Glen and I bought a home in Gaithersburg, MD where we live with our two cats, Missy and Merlin. I would love to hear from everyone!

I am now working for a non-profit organization working in their public relations and development department in Memphis. I am still involved in theatre and participate in shows in my free time. I recently got married in March and we have a beautiful two - year old boy together. He made his stage debut at the age of 5 months.

In 1991, I got a job at J.R.'s Executive In in Paducah, Kentucky as a
restaurant supervisor. A few weeks later, I was assaulted at the riverfront.
I spent several months in rehab at Frazier Rehab Center in Louisville.
I eventually moved back home to South Fulton, Tennessee; where I have my own
home. I am very pleased with the way things have finally turned out, though
I am now disabled. I still look back with fondest memories of my years with Vanguard
at UTM. It was so fantastically rewarding to be involved with the theatre. I
also treasure all the wonderful friendships that evolved during those years.

After graduating I finished up a year working as Assistant Director and
Choreographer of Fine Arts Warehouse in Dyersburg, TN. I ended up moving to
Memphis in August 1999 and started teaching dance at Memphis Dance Theatre.
During my 3 years of teaching at MDT I also danced with their new company.
During that time I also auditioned for and received the $5000 Individual
Artist Fellowship for Dance for 2001 from the Tennessee Arts Commission. I
was so shocked!
Looking for a challenge, I quit MDT and moved to Chicago in September 2002
and I've been here ever since. I've been continuing my dance training at
Lou Conte Dance Studio and am presently talking to the Marketing and
Development departments of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago about starting an
internship. I work for DeVry University Online and am taking advantage of
free tuition by working towards my MBA from Keller Graduate School of
Management. My most exciting thing ever was auditioning for KMA Dance
Agency this past October (2003) and being asked to sign a contract with
them! They'll be getting me auditions for the different clients they
represent in film, tv, video, commercials and live theatre.
I still have my puppy Champ (who's not a puppy any more!) and would love to
