Not only have I been challenged to look at writing in its various forms, but I have also been encouraged to pick up the pen and begin putting more of my thoughts in writing. Other aspects of the course that I found to be very beneficial were the interactions with people on campus whom I had never met, the colliegiality we shared and the many ways that we, outside the English Department, could implement and encourage more reading and writing with our students.
