This has been a wonderful experience. The benefits of Voice Lessons include: 1) I am stronger in my opinion that students here at UTM need writing experiences; 2) I can assign a variety of interesting writing projects that will not necessarily be impossible to grade and most importantly will engage students in the topic during class and beyond; 3)1 know without a doubt that my university colleagues are incredibly intelligent and insightful and extremely helpful; 4) I hope to pursue research activities with some of the professors I met through Voice Lessons; and 5) I especially appreciated the mixture of faculty in terms of the varying amount of teaching experience and the different disciplines represented in Voice Lessons. Overall, this experience has been emotionally and intellectually fulfilling!
