"Voice Lessons is about courage.  It gives faculty members from various disciplines the courage to interact, share and express themselves, in a manner that is not always available on a university campus.  It gives each participant the courage to explore their inner feelings and express them in prose.  It allows each person in the program to develop the courage to respect differences and identify commonalities among their colleagues."
