Voice Lessons: The UTM Faculty Writing Project

August 2 and August 5-8, 2013

Interested faculty members should apply by June 30, 2013 by sending an email to David Carithers at dcarithers@utm.edu or dropping a letter in campus mail to David Carithers, Department of English and Modern Foreign Languages, 131 Humanities.  

In your letter or email, explain your reasons for wanting to participate and describe your writing/teaching experiences, your expectations for the workshop, your potential contributions, and what you would like to take away from Voice Lessons.  Typical applications in the past have been about one page single-spaced. 

Faculty members who complete the program will receive a $400 stipend.  The program offering is contingent on the availability of funds.  All applicants will be notified by July 26, 2013 regarding the status of their applications.
