Dr. Angela Glunz

Currently Teaching:

Public Speaking

Dr. Angela Glunz received her Ph.D. from SIU Carbondale with a degree in Communication Studies and an emphasis in Performance Studies. During her time at SIUC she performed in four shows and co-directed two performances. In May 2017, she received the “Outstanding Performance in Multiple Seasons” award for her performance work in the Marion Kleinau Theatre at SIUC. Her research interests include Rhetorical Criticism and Theory, Performance Studies, and Communication Pedagogy. Her research has been presented at conferences at the regional and national level.

In the fall of 2017, Dr. Glunz joined the faculty in the Communications Department at the University of Tennessee at Martin as a Lecturer of COMM 230 Public Speaking.
