Harold Cochran joined the Department of Communication in 1999 and serves as Senior Broadcast Engineer. Cochran has more than twenty-five years of electronic experience, more than twenty years of that time with the university, and the past thirteen years as an engineer for both television and radio in the Department of Communications. He began his electronics career in 1987 with the United States Air Force as a Weather Equipment Technician. After his enlistment, Cochran returned to Tennessee and joined the Tennessee Air National Guard where he was trained as a Communication/Navigation Technician. He joined the University of Tennessee at Martin in 1992 as an Electronic Technician in the Paul Meek Library.
