The Student Court is the judicial branch of SGA. The student court has jurisdiction in all cases involving offense against the provision of the Contitution, Laws, and By-Laws of the Student Government Association, except those cases involving the impeachment and infractions of the Election Laws. The Student Court has the power to interpret the SGA Constittion and By-Laws. The Student Court has jurisdiction as well over residential disciplinary cases involving minor allegations. It is however the student's right to pursue any modifications in decisions through the hearing process
Student Court is presided over by the Chief Justice and Associatied Justives whom are appointed annually by the President and/or Election committee. In conjunction with University requirements all appointees are subject to approval with both Academic and Disciplinary clearance by the Vice Chancellor and/or their designee. Appointments are set to run for one academic year.
Student Court is governed under the leadership of the Student Conduct Officer.
