Complete an ACT Prep course just in time to take the next national exam Our Saturday 8:00 a.m. class time conditions you for the National Exam!  This program utilizes materials from Cambridge Educational Services. Cambridge has developed the most comprehensive, scientific, and accountable method of preparing for high-stakes standardized tests.  Cambridge textbooks include extensive basic skills review for all sections of each test.  Students learn how to complete test problems based on question frequency, difficulty, substantive knowledge, curriculum, and alternative test-taking strategies.  The best test-taking approach is for students to learn multiple alternative test-taking strategies for every question-type.  Students will also learn how to maximize their score in the allotted time.   The first class meeting students will be given an official, retired test.  The Pre-Test is scored by Cambridge who then provides the instructors with assessment reports on the students' current skills and test-taking abilities.  This becomes the guide for the review sessions.  Students also receive a copy of their assessment report.

Students may use ACT approved calculator on the pre and post test.  To determine if your calculator is ACT approved, please review the guidelines on the ACT website at:  http://www.actstudent.org/faq/answers/calculator.html.

The courses beginning in July, September and October will prepare students for the fall National ACT exams.  In addition to the above described course, these courses will include a Post-Test.  The Post-Tests are also scored by Cambridge. Our instructors use the assessment reports from the Post-Test to provide students with a One-Week Personal Study Plan for the last few days before the exam. The instructors schedule one-on-one meetings with their students to discuss their Personal Study Plan.

Students may use ACT approved calculator on the pre and post test.  To determine if your calculator is ACT approved, please review the guidelines on the ACT website at:  http://www.actstudent.org/faq/answers/calculator.html.
