Lead, Encourage, Amaze, and Dazzle Carrie Sutherland and Hillary Watson
Learn how to L.E.A.D.: Lead, Encourage, Amaze, and Dazzle! This program will give all the tools needed to support your favorite team to a victory! You will learn chants, cheers, and other fun cheerleading moves. Get ready to make some N-O-I-S-E as a Kid College Cheerleader!


Chemical Reactions ($10)
How are Science and magic alike? Well, some stunts or tricks work because they are based on scientific principles. You will use ordinary materials in extraordinary ways....so grab your magic wand! Fiddle-deedee! You will also use cutlery to make a circuit. Abracadabra, Alakazam! Let’s make rain...Alakazam....or make letters appear! Ta-da! Come enjoy science!

Good ABC’s of Spanish Fiesta ($8)
Do you want to have fun? Here the answer will be “yes” because Fiesta (Party) will be a wonderful experience! The interesting activities will be developed in smooth sequences to enjoy each game, drill, exercise, letter, word, expression, joke, picture, video, and song as an active player. You will enjoy cultural activities like food and music with a native Hispanic instructor. You should bring a 1.5” binder, paper, pencils, and color.

Jr. Space Camp: The ISS Mission ($12)

Do you ever dream about being an Astronaut and flying into space when you grow up? Well, welcome to the class where you will get to train like real NASA Astronauts! First, you meet your crew and train for your mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Learning how to sleep, eat, and work in space are just some of the activities that we will cover as we prepare for our simulated "flight." Working in Mission Control and conducting experiments on the Space Station will also be a part of your experience in Jr. Space Camp! Some highlights of this class include tasting Astronaut Food, EVA (Spacewalking) simulations and holding REAL moon rocks and soil samples brought back from the moon by our Apollo Astronauts.

T-Rex & Friends ($5)
Have fun discovering Dinosaurs and Prehistoric animals. Why did they disappear? Which dinosaur had razor teeth? We will dig up prehistoric bones, hunt for dinosaur eggs, and learn how to walk like a dinosaur. Plus a lot more!

If you enjoy making crafts then this is the class for you! Experience the chance to create awesome crafts for yourself, friends, and family. Make picture frames, journals, homemade sidewalk paint and much more. You will come home with lots of crafts to keep you entertained all summer!

Hut Hut Hut Football ($5)
The Hut Hut Hut Football class will introduce you to the wonderful sport of football. We'll "run wild" and learn the basic fundamentals of flag football. You will also create a personalized sports bottle to use at home or school.

Milk and Cookies ($10)
Who doesn’t love milk and cookies? Come join our cookie baking class! In this class you will be learning the steps to making a perfect cookie... from mixing and baking to icing and decorating. Get ready for yummy cookies!

Practicing Pet Pros ($13)

Have you ever seen a rabbit walk on a leash? Did you know that guinea pigs and rabbits will use a litter box? Animals are fascinating and in this class you will be able to groom, feed, handle and care for pets. And who knows, you may even become the owner of one of these pets. You will enjoy a LIVE PETTING ZOO and handle pets such as guinea pigs, snakes, rabbits, hermit crabs, exotic pets and more. Come join the fun and be careful because camels and llamas might just spit on you.

Sketchbook Club ($10)
For the child that loves to draw! Students learn the mechanics of drawing and then apply those skills to develop one-of-a-kind artworks. They will discover artistic styles, drawing tools and special techniques to take their drawing skills to the next level. They will enter the world of imagination as they learn about shape, form, shading, perspective, and proportion. They will work with a variety of mediums to draw buildings, animals, people, and much more.

Ready for some fun? School’s out and summer is here! This class is full of your favorite summertime activities. Summer fun includes: painting sun catchers, sand art, making ice cream, beach games like limbo and musical inner tubes, fun with bubbles, homemade play dough, and more!

Did you know you can make playdough out of kool-aid, oatmeal, glitter, coffee, and even chocolate frosting? You will get to make a different type of play-dough everyday in this fun class. Some days you will even get to eat your play-dough. You do not want to miss this class. Join us for a fun-filled two weeks!

Wild, Wild, West ($4)
Saddle up and get ready to learn about the Wild West! You will learn about the Old West, when cowboys encountered countless adventures and experiences. Activities include hay painting, target shooting with a Nerf gun, panning for gold, and much more! You also will receive your own cowboy hat! Hold on to that hat because the wild ride is about to begin!

Hello Cupcakes ($10)
Kids, do you love to play with flour, break eggs, use a mixer, and love to make a mess? Me too!!! Then this class is for you. We will be baking and decorating cupcakes for all occasions. Learning unique ways to decorate cupcakes could be a great activity for a party as well as a big help to your parents. Don’t miss out!!!

Each day children will enter the enchanting world of a storybook and enjoy fun games, arts, & crafts, or snacks that go along with the book. After reading Bartholomew and the Ooblek, we are going to play in our own ooey, gooey ooblek! A few more of the wonderful books are Bubble Trouble, The Story of Ferdinand, Sylvester and the Magic Pebble, If You Give a Cat a Cupcake, The Cat in the Hat, and more!

Jr. Space Camp: Mission to Mars ($12)
Astronaunt trainee, you have an opportunity to be a part of the very first crew to explore the surface of MARS! Your training begins after being assigned to an astronaut crew. The next step will be "flying" a simulated mission to the Red Planet, but that is just the beginning!!! Once there you must learn to survive on this hostile alien world! Collecting Mars soil samples, learning how to work on a 1/3 G world and gliding across the surface of Mars on our HOVERCRAFT are a few of the fun activities this class offers! Please join us for an adventure of a lifetime in this award winning Kid College class!! Team Awards will be given on the last day. This class qualifies you to complete the flight suit or Space Camp scholarship project.

Space Race ($12)
How exciting to have the opportunity to be one of the FIRST Future Astronauts to participate in the Space Race! You will be able to learn all about space and astronomy with fun and exciting games, taking learning to an entire new level. Each day, different Space or Astronomy information will be discussed and a game will be played to re-enforce this new knowledge with your astronaut team! How does Space Bingo, Home on the Moon, Star Relay or Too Many Martians sound? There will be one team chosen each day as the NASA team of the Day, but the other teams will receive alternate prizes...everyone is a winner in the Space Race! Team Awards will be given on the last day. This class qualifies you to complete the flight suit or Space Camp scholarship project.

Are you a fan of CSI or NCIS? Then this is the class for you! YOU will love learning about how detectives use science to figure out unsolvable thefts, arsons, mysteries, and more. Our class will also includes activities on fingerprinting, evidence collection, dental impressions, tool marks, analyzing powders, counterfeit checks, blood-stain identification, forensic careers, ballistics, and much more.

 

Jr. Skyhawk Football Camp ($6)

The Junior Skyhawk Football Camp will teach your child about the basic fundamentals of football. Your child will have the opportunity to “train like the Skyhawks”. Every student will receive Skyhawk Gear. This gear will include a Junior Skyhawk Football Camp water bottle and photo.

 

Kid with a Blog ($2)

Have you ever seen The Disney Channel’s Dog with a Blog? Now you get to be the star of your own blog. Join us to learn how to publish your writing on the web using a variety of fun topics. followed by a challenge to re-enforce the new information. The challenge may be a mental challenge or it could be a physical one, but either way, we are having fun! Some of our games will include Space Bingo, Astronomy Matching, Star Relay or Travel Agent

Go for the gold at the Kid College Olympics! This fun-filled class is for all future Olympians! Teams will have a blast competing in crazy games and activities as they rack up points for their team. On the last day of class, there will be a party and medal ceremony where each child will receive a medal!

 

Kids with Cameras ($20)

One, Two, Three…Smile! Take your photography skills to the next level with lessons on focusing, distance, lighting, choosing subjects, changing angles, forced perspective and more. Go on a photography scavenger hunt, make pop art puzzles, hand-tint a

black and white photo, transfer a photo to a t-shirt, and more. Bring a digital camera with a viewfinder, at least a 256MB memory card, and a plain white t-shirt.

 

You Can Yoga!

Flex and bend into You Can Yoga. Yoga is a centuries old form of relaxation and mediation, but did you know it could be fun? Come and join us in our kid oriented class while becoming in tune with the world around you. We guarantee you’ll bend, move, and twist into a positive and fun atmosphere! Bring 1 yoga/exercise mat or towel and wear loose clothing & leggings if wearing skirts/dresses.
