Prior to Kid College
- Register your child in advance. Registration & Payment instructions are on the registration form.
- Complete the Kid College RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK FORM
- Registration fee is $40 per class.
- T-Shirts. Kid College T-Shirts are available for an additional $10.
- Free Time (for Kid College children only). You may schedule one hour of free time, in addition to lunch, if your child enrolls in four or more classes. This is a supervised period when children play games (inside and outside) or watch videos.
Drop Off/Pick Up Location
The designated area for Kid College
Drop Off and Pick Up is the parking lot
behind the Sociology Building. Directions
from University Street, turn onto Lovelace
Ave, at the stop sign turn right onto Hurt
Street. Go straight at the next stop sign
and immediately turn right into the parking
lot. You and your child will have a shady
stroll on the sidewalk to Gooch Hall. After
each class, Kid College staff will escort the
children to this area. Due to limited space
and parking, we ask that you do not use the
small parking lot adjacent to Gooch.
June 3rd – First Day
Arrive 15 to 20 minutes prior to your
child’s first class to pick up his/her Nametag

Supply Fee
- This is to be paid directly
to the instructor. Please send the money in
an envelope on the first day of Kid College.
Write your child's name and either the name
of the class or the instructor's name on the
outside of the envelope. Send exact cash
or make a check payable to the instructor.
A few of the courses list things the children
can bring from home.
- Nametags should be worn daily.
- Provide a backpack for supplies. Label
everything!
- Children will be supervised at all times,
including lunch. They will be escorted to
and from class at each period and class rolls
are checked hourly. Teachers will meet your
child for each class in the Gooch Lobby or
Auditorium.
Lunch
- If your child will have lunch
at Kid College, we recommend you send
their lunch and a drink. Lunch may also be
purchased from the Food Cart in the lobby
or vending machine.
- No child will be allowed to leave
without an adult escort or a note from the
parent/guardian.
- After first day arrive 10 minutes prior
to class.
Kid College Open House
Thursday
evening, June 14th, 4:30 – 6:30 p.m.
All parents, family and friends are invited
to drop by and meet the teachers, view
displays and watch demonstrations. Refreshments will be served. |
