Early Simple Machines - 9:00-11:00AM
Ages 5-7

Students build fun and simple models like a seesaw, rolling vehicle, spinning top, raft, and many more. By playing with and manipulating the models, they experience pulleys, levers, gears, and wheels and axles, while exploring energy, buoyancy, and balance. Students work in teams of two or three.
Space is limited.

Simple and Powered Machines - 12:00-2:00PM

Students will build and explore machines and mechanisms, investigate motorized machines, calibrate and capture wind, and study gearing mechanisms. The activities enable students to work as young scientists, engineers, and designers and provides them with settings, tools and tasks that promote design technology, science and mathematics.
